Ways To Join Our Church Family:

Adult Baptism:

Our church encourages the practice of Believer’s Baptism. This means that we baptize those individuals who have received Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives by Grace through faith as an outward sign of an invisible Grace. 

Profession of Faith:

Profession of Faith is the public acknowledgement of having received Jesus Christ as Lord of one’s life and the desire to live the Christian life in the community of faith.

Transfer of Membership:

We recognize the baptism and membership vows from other churches.  A letter would be sent to an individual’s former church requesting the transfer of membership to our church. If that letter is not available, then one would come into membership by profession of faith.

Here are the steps you may take toward joining our church family:

        Call the church office to request a meeting with the Senior Pastor. At that time you can share your decision to join the church, or:

Complete an “Invitation to Join” card from the pew and place it in the collection plate during the service.

Next, meet with our board of Diaconate for a time of fellowship and sharing. During that time, you will also be connected with a sponsor who will introduce you on a designated Sunday to receive the right hand of fellowship and any membership material.

We seek to make every candidate for membership feel that Greece Baptist Church is their new home, so we are open to any questions or concerns you may have about the church, membership, and community.
